This method (also known as ocean freight) involves the transportation of large quantities of goods via cargo ships. Your goods will be packed into containers which will then be loaded onto a vessel and sailed to the destination country. This mode of transport will also offer more capacity and is apt for transferring high-bulk goods.
We can transfer your sea freight in two ways:
If you require a full container (FCL), we can arrange to have an empty 20′ or 40′ container delivered to your door anywhere in Canada.
If you have a shipment that is not a full container’s worth, we can offer LCL where your goods will be sent to the nearest port by truck or rail and consolidated with other freight in containers. We can also assist in packaging or crating.
For equipment or large shipments that do not fit into standard containers, we can arrange for freight to be loaded and secured directly on the ships. For this project cargo, we will take care of all the details including transportation to port, loading/securing, and export customs clearance.
